Food safety in Manufacturing (RQF) is a fundamental element in the food security system in the United Arab Emirates. There is nothing more important than food, as it affects various aspects of our lives. Therefore, it requires adopting many management practices to maintain the health and safety of food throughout its production, manufacturing, storage, and preparation stages. This necessitates effective and organized management, in addition to quality inspection and assurance.
The importance of food management lies in achieving the highest standards of quality and safety, leading to the preservation of individuals' safety and ensuring that food does not pose a threat to their health. Despite the existence of advanced systems for risk analysis and critical control points, some challenges may pose a risk, such as chemical impact and the quality of manufacturing processes. These challenges may lead to gaps and vulnerabilities in food systems. However, the risk analysis and critical control point systems used in food laboratories contribute to controlling the quality and suitability of food for human consumption, ensuring its healthy arrival in the markets. It remains the responsibility of public health management to guide consumers on the healthy preparation of food to avoid diseases resulting from food poisoning.
